Since our main site containing legal information is down, the legal rules summarised are as follows:
All submissions to the Blender Model Repository can be used for any use, be it personal, educational, or commercial EXCEPT when the author or creator has specified that it may not be used for certain purposes or may only be used for certain purposes in a readme (or similar) file, within the .blend file itself, within the submission description on the Blender Model Repository, or otherwise. If the author/creator is not clear, it will be best for you to contact them personally. The Blender Model Repository (and Dion Moult - me) will not be held responsible in any way for legal or personal problems that might arise from misuse of the content.

The BMR has been running smoothly without any hitches and a slow income of new submissions. (Go tell your friends!) Since I've had some free time lately, I'm working on a new website that should appeal to all Blenderheads!
